97 Boys Premier

The Las Vegas Premier '97 boys team won the No Cal Spring Showcase over the weekend of March 3-4, 2012.  The team went 4-0 on their way to the title.  In group play, they beat two of the top teams in Northern California - Marin FC and Juventus.  They played Santa Monica United in the semi-final winning the game 2-1 and beat Olimpica United (Cal South) 3-2 in the final.

Head Coach Jason DiOrio said, "This is a huge win for the boys!  They beat 4 excellent teams this weekend and proved that they are one of the elite teams in the nation.  I am very proud of their accomplishments."  After winning this tournament, the team is currently ranked #1 in Nevada, 6th in Region IV, and 12th in the nation.
