Jason Diorio "JD"

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
I was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Las Vegas at the age of 10.  I am employed at Meadow Gold Dairy as a Key Account Manager and I have been in the dairy business for 14 years. 


CLUB EXPERIENCE:
I began coaching in the LV Premier Soccer Club in 1998.  At that time, I was the Head Coach of the Premier ’83 boys team, they were the oldest team in our club.   Since then, I have been the Head Coach of the Premier ’87 boys team, the Premier ’91 boys team, the Premier ’92 boys team, the Premier ’93 boys team and I am currently the head coach for the Premier ’97 boys team and the Las Vegas Premier ’96 ECNL girls.  I have won a total of 15 Nevada State Championships as a coach, 13 with the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club.  I became the Vice-President of the club in 2005 and I became the President of the Las Vegas Premier Soccer club in September 2008.  I became the Director of Coaching for Boys in the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club in June 2009 and I am currently the Director of Coaching for boys and girls U-12 thru U-18.


PLAYER EXPERIENCE:

  • Began playing soccer at age 4 in Chicago, IL
  • Played club soccer in Las Vegas age 10 – 18
  • Nevada ODP Program age 13 – 18
  • Region IV Pool Player age 14-18
  • Won 3 Nevada State Championships in club soccer
  • 4 year Varsity starter at Valley High School 1984-1987
  • All-State First Team Selection 1985-1987 – Valley High School
  • Nevada High School Championship and Tournament MVP – 1987
  • Awarded the Peter Johann Memorial Soccer Scholarship to UNLV – 1988
  • Las Vegas Dust Devils reserve team – 1995

 

COACHING EXPERIENCE:
I began coaching in 1991.  I coached in the Nevada ODP program for 2 years (1992 & 1993).  I have coached the Las Vegas Premier ’83 boys’ team for 8 years, the Las Vegas Premier ’87 boys’ team for 3 years, and the Las Vegas Premier ’91 boys’ for 2 years and the Las Vegas Premier ’92 boys’ for 6 years, the Las Vegas Premier ’93 boys for 3 years, the Las Vegas Premier ’97 boys (2 years and counting) and the Las Vegas Premier ’96 ECNL girls for 1 year.  I have won 15 Nevada State Championships as a coach and I hold a D coaching license.
