Premier Players, Parents, & Coaches, I wanted to extend my warmest wishes to you and your families during this holiday season. I hope everyone has had a safe holiday season and a happy and healthy 2010. I appreciate all of the support that we have received over the past few months. I am aware that there have been issues within our club, but please realize that the board is doing their very best to offer the best soccer experience in Southern Nevada at the lowest cost. As a club, we are always open to hear new ideas and we invite as much volunteer assistance as possible. Please keep in mind that many people VOLUNTEER their time to make this club as successful as it is, so to those volunteers - I THANK YOU! Looking back on 2009, I enjoyed the success of our teams in the 2009 Nevada State Championships, the many tournaments that Premier teams have won, and how we have grown as a club in both the recreational and competitive levels of our youth programs. I am very proud to be your club President and I look forward to a great 2010. As many of you know, we hosted Las Vegas Premier College Night at UNLV on December 10th. With the help of the UNLV Mens Head Coach, Mario Sanchez, and the UNLV Womens Head Coach, Kat Mertz, this was a very informative evening. Every player that attended left with valuable information regarding the college recruiting process and a college handbook that was provided by the club. The club also hosted Premier Day 2009 on Decmeber 12th. There were pancakes served in the morning, hot dogs and hamburgers served throughout the day and evening, juice, milk, water and fun games for all Premier families to enjoy. We took the 2009 club photo, had face painting, played scrimmage games, danced to music, and supported the Candlelighters of Southern Nevada with our Toy Drive. Every player received a free Premier t-shirt and wore it in the club picture. Thanks for making this the biggest Premier Day ever!! As President of the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club, I want you to know that I do have the best interest of your son and/or daughter in mind. I am excited about the talented group of coaches that we have assembled and I look forward to watching your children grow as soccer players and as young adults in our club. For those of you that know me well, you know that I am a very approachable person, so, I hope EVERY player and parent takes the time to come over and introduce themselves. I hope everyone in the Las Vegas Premier family has a wonderful holiday and a blessed New Year. I look forward to seeing you on the fields soon!
