The LV Premier SC invites you to submit an application for the 2010 LV Premier SC Invitational. The tournament will be held in Las Vegas, NV on March 26-28, 2010. Only local teams will play on Friday, March 26.
The 2010 LV Premier SC Invitational gives teams the opportunity to play against top level competition while enjoying the beautiful weather in one of the most exciting cities in the world, As we enter the 13th year of our tournament, we continue to strive to make this the best tournament experience for all the players and their families. As with our previous tournaments, we will focus on providing the highest quality product and service. Game lengths will be as follows: (50 minutes for U9 and U10 and 60 minutes for U11-U18-all rounds).
This is a Stay and Play Tournament! Tournament Dates: TEAM CHECK-IN Adults only please. Please bring medical release forms for all players (signed by parents), a copy of each player's birth certificate, laminated player ID cards, signed guest player forms, travel papers ( if team is outside of Nevada) and a phone number of a team contact for the tournament weekend. ELIGIBILITY This tournament is open to all USYSA and US CLUB SOCCER affiliated teams from age U9 - U19 boys and girls. All players must have a valid, laminated players pass, travel papers (when applicable), signed players medical releases from your league, and loan forms (if your state assoc. still uses them). Maximum of 5 guest players per team.
TOURNAMENT RULES SCHEDULE All teams are guaranteed three games (weather permitting). Bracket size for each age group will determine format for semi-finals where applicable. Single age brackets will be used where possible. The tournament committee will determine brackets. GAME LENGTH U9-U10 will play a 50 minute game with a five minute half time. U11-U19 will play a 60 minute game with a five minute half time. AWARDS First and second place awards will be presented at the conclusion of the final games. All participants will receive a tournament token. REGISTRATION All teams must provide the following at registration: Laminated player and coach’s passes Medical releases Loan player forms Travel papers (if traveling from outside HOME AND VISITING TEAMS Home team is listed first on the schedule. Home team must change Home team will take the North/East side of the field. Home team will provide game ball. SCORING Teams will be awarded points for game results as follows: WIN: 6 POINTS TIE: 3 POINTS LOSS: 0 POINTS SHUTOUT: 1 POINT (0-0 tie will be awarded 1 point for the shut out) GOALS: 1 POINT with a max. of 3 TIE BREAKER In the event that two teams are tied in points at the end of the preliminary games, the following tie breakers shall be applied in the order given until a winner is determined. If more than 2 teams are tied in points at the end of the preliminary games, the following tie breakers shall be applied in the order given until a team is eliminated and then the remaining teams will start at number one. 1. Head to Head (if all teams played each other) 2. Most goals For 5. FIFA penalty kicks SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions are unlimited and as follows: 1. Prior to throw-in in your favor 2. Prior to all goal kicks 3. After any goal 4. After a yellow card 5. Injury, one for one DISCIPLINE RED CARD: Ejection of current game and next game. Committee reserves the right to impose stricter penalty for fighting, foul language, spitting, etc. Any coach red carded risks tournament banishment. Coaches are responsible for their fans, etc. YELLOW CARDS: Any player receiving 2 yellow cards in one game will sit out the remainder of the game and the next game. ABANDONMENT The results of any game terminated as consequences of abandonment shall be based on the score at the time. If the referee deems one team responsible, the score will be a 1 - 0 shut out and the guilty team will also have a (2) point deduction from their total points. GENERAL RULES Played under the FIFA, USYSA, and USYSNV adjustment for your competition. FIFA “Laws of the game” and rules of USYSA shall apply. All decisions by the tournament committee are final and the committee reserves the right to alter the format to enhance fair play and safety. THERE WILL BE NO PROTESTS OR APPEALS. INCLEMENT WEATHER Tournament matches will be played in all weather conditions unless the referee determines the conditions are dangerous and/or life threatening as per FIFA/USYSA/USYSNV regulations. The tournament committee will do everything in their control to make sure all matches are played, however if it is out of their control the tournament standings at the time will be final without refund. CONTINGENCY PLAN: PLAN A: All matches will played as scheduled PLAN B: Shorten all first round matches to 15 minute halves PLAN C: Plan B plus shorten all semi final matches PLAN D: Plan C plus shorten all final matches PLAN E: In the event the fields become totally unplayable or the weather becomes a hazardous condition, it may be necessary to decide some matches with FIFA penalty kicks GIRLS: U9-U19 BOYS: U9-U19 |
